The family, relatives and friends announce with profound regrets, the untimely home- going of our dear husband, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and trusted friend, Blama M. Kamara, which sad event occurred on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 7:00 Post Meridian in Staten Island, New York, pursuant a protracted period of illness.
Mr. Blama M. Kamara was born in Kamatahun (Hassala Clan, Kolahun District) Lofa County, Liberia (West Africa), unto the blessed union of Hon. Blama Kamara, Sr. and Madam Massa Lonai Kamara all of whom predeceased him.
Mr. Kamara is survived by his life time partner and beloved wife, Dedeh Kamara, two children: Momo B. Kamara and Kolubah Roberts, several brothers, sisters and host of other relatives both in the United States of America and Liberia. He came to the United States in 1981 from Liberia, and lived in Alabama, Maryland, New York and New Jersey where he maintained a home until his untimely demise.
In his home-going, we have lost an irreplaceable family man, humanitarian and dependable ally.
