The George E. Tubman Sr. Family regrets to announce the sudden death of George E. Tubman Sr. on 2/20/11. He was pre-deceased by his father George E. Tubman Sr. and his mother Mary Wedebo-Tubman. He leaves to mourn his dear wife and best friend of 54 years Rachel B. Tubman, his loving children Elizabeth Matu Tubman, Joycelyn Yvette Tubman-Goodridge and Son In-Law Spencer S. Goodridge Sr., George E. Tubman Jr., and Georgene Etina Tubman; his two grandchildren Seyon I. Cooper and Simone Nakina Tubman; 3 foster sisters Helena Wallace, Freda Parker and Mary Assaf Gbaa; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. He was a loving, caring and god fearing man who will be greatly missed and will forever live in our hearts including those whose lives he touched. The family greatly appreciates all of your prayers, support and expressions of sympathy.
