We mourn her untimely death, but her memories will remain with us forever, especially her beautiful ‘signature’ dimpled smile and laughter.  Jema you will always be in our thoughts and hearts and we will miss you very much.

Jema Belinda “Beautiful” Stubblefield


The Stubblefield family announces with sadness, the sudden death of their mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, niece, Jema Belinda “Beautiful” Stubblefield who quickly slipped away on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14, 2010 at 5:30 AM at the Washington Adventist Hospital.  Her 2 daughters, Stephanie Salamartu Duncan and Ruth Biyanca Stubblefield, were by her bedside.  During her hospitalization, her family and friends stayed at her bedside every day expressing their love and praying for her.  Jema is survived by her 2 daughters:  Stephanie Salamartu Duncan and Ruth Biyanca Stubblefield; 2 granddaughters, Tatyana and Alexus, (Jema always referred to them as “My 4 girls”); many sisters and brothers, nephews, nieces, cousins, a host of relatives, a few dear and personal friends and many acquaintances.
