It is with deepest sorrow that the Zaza, Momolu, and Mulbah families announce the Home Going of our dearest beloved Mother, Sister, Aunt, and Grandmother Mrs. Lena K. Momolu (Honey Cone). This sad event occurred on February 22, 2010 at the home of her daughter and Son-in law, Mr. & Mrs. Zaebele Zaza Sr. in Waldorf, Maryland.
Mrs. Lena K. Momolu is predeceased by her husband Mr. William Wingate Momolu. She is survived by her children Yamah Zaza, Jetty Momolu, Una K. Thompson, Hawa Momolu, Solomon Momolu, Sumo Momolu, and Victor Momolu, her brothers Lavala Mcgill, Samuel Momolu, Clarence K. Momolu and Flomo Mulbah, her sister Mrs. Mama Steven, grandchildren Zaeleya Zaza, Solomon E. Momolu Jr., Sumoiwuo Zaza, Ansumana Zaza, Zaebele M. Zaza, Eutor Momolu, Suanna Momolu and baby Lena. She also leaves to mourn her loss a host of close relatives and friends in Liberia, Canada, Ghana and the USA.
Honey Cone was a strong believer in the Lord. She has been called from labor to rest in a place where there is no pain, no sicknesses, and no sorrow. We will miss her, but her memories will remain with us forever, especially her words of encouragement.
