Mr. Samuel D. Banks, Sr. departed to be with the Lord on June 30, 2010 at the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC, USA. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice E. Bates Banks, his children: Mrs. Cleopatra Banks Keah (Lawrence), Laverne, Leroy (Sandra), Samuel Jr. (Garmai), Alicia Banks Ijames (Kentrell), Satchmoore, Lancelot (Cymbaline), Sandra, Samuel III, Edwin, Dawn Banks Hoff (Gabriel), grandchildren, great grandchildren, maternal Silblings: Edna I Banks Stevens, Benjamin F. N. Banks, Mary Banks Tobee (Benedictus),
